As the Executive director at Local 888, I am pleased to report, that since taking office in May of 2012, we have taken many steps to improve contract servicing, member engagement, chapter building and leadership development. Whether it is a Steward training or a workplace safety workshop we are committed to providing you and your chapter the tools necessary to build a stronger unit. In addition, to better support our members we have a new in-house legal staff to ensure the timely resolution of grievances and adequate legal representation. As we proceed this year, know that we are working hard to make Local 888 a more responsive union for our hard working members and their families.
