Sixteen members attended a Cape Cod regional meeting in Hyannis on April 30. Local 888 Regional Committees, open to all members, are forming throughout the state to build solidarity among members within Local 888 and improve our standing in the cities and towns where we live and work. Upcoming events include a meeting with representatives from the Retirement Board, discussion of proposed cuts in retiree health benefits and some social events.
