AFLAC
AFLAC is Supplemental insurance that pays cash directly to the insured in case of an accident or illness. Now members have access to AFLAC Personal Short Term Disability coverage which can only be purchased thru a group. AFLAC also has additional life insurance, accident, cancer and hospital plans at payroll rates.
AFLAC has created an account for the membership so that any active member of SEIU Local 888 can now enroll using their individual checking, savings, or credit card and still receive the payroll rate.

Unions help working families fulfill their dreams in many different ways. At SEIU, this includes yearly college scholarship opportunities.
Through five different scholarship programs, SEIU awards 53 scholarships that enable SEIU members and their children to pursue their educational goals at colleges, universities, labor study programs and technical schools.
