
Update on Privatization and Casino Gambling
At our recent membership meeting, a number of members raised concerns about the likelihood of casino gambling in Massachusetts, as well as the increasing public rhetoric about privatizing the Lottery.
First, on the issue of casino gambling, please take a moment to download and complete the member survey. Understanding your position on this issue is important to developing a unified and cohesive public message. Please be assured that completed surveys will be kept confidential.

As members of SEIU Local 888 we must remain committed to working together, particularly on the issue of privatization. While discussions still seem to be in the early stages, it is important that we be prepared to escalate the heat on Beacon Hill if we need to.
