Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, 2009

Hi Everyone,

Last year I walked the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk to honor my niece Melissa Barron (a former DPW clerk) and her courageous fight with breast cancer. This year I have the honor and privilege of walking with her as a SURVIVOR!

It has been 1 year since her diagnosis, and since then she has gone thru chemotherapy, had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. She's been a fighter all along, and is now able to join the fight against breast cancer.

I am asking you, once again, to please consider joining the fight to find a cure by making a donation toward my fundraising goal.

This is an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
