Local 888 union stewards from the City of Boston recently participated in a training. Union stewards serve voluntarily (either through election by their fellow workers or by appointment) to defend the interests of their fellow members. Stewards are on the front lines to promote union values and defend members’ rights in the workplace. Read more about the role of the steward here.
