The officers and staff of Local 888 extend our deepest sympathies to the families.

The officers and staff of Local 888 extend our deepest sympathies to the families of:
• Franklin E. True, 61, of Haverhill. He was a Local 888 member and school bus driver for the Haverhill Public Schools. He loved his job and working with the children and his co-workers.
• Charles James “Jamie” Duross Jr., who served as a co-president and vice president of the Local 888 Framingham Professional Union. He had also served as a steward and contract negotiating committee member for a number of years. Mr. Duross died after a battle with cancer. He worked most recently in technology services as Framingham’s public safety systems director.
• Kevin G. Whelan Sr., of Plymouth, who worked for many years at the Massachusetts State Lottery.
