The officers and staff of Local 888 extend our deepest sympathies to the families.

The officers and staff of Local 888 extend our deepest sympathies to the families of:
• Maria Bentubo, 68, of Woburn. She worked for 30 years for the Community Action Agency of Somerville’s Head Start program. The CAAS preschool program prepares children, ages 3 to 5, for school.
• Matthew Orenstein, 36, a Local 888 member and a clinical psychologist and group coordinator for counseling services at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The Cambridge resident died from cancer that had metastasized to his lungs.
• Christine Gillette, 56, a Local 888 member at UMass Lowell. She started as a media relations specialist in 2007 and had worked her way up to director.
