There are number of programs available for SEIU 888 members who work for the City of Boston who need housing assistance, though the City of Boston - SEIU Local 888 Housing Trust Fund.

Members who are facing housing emergencies, either as renters or homeowners, can receive grants and interest-free loans to make rental and mortgage payments or even to purchase a new home. Additionally, City of Boston members who are facing layoffs from the are eligible for $1,500 grant.
