Contract Update (as of April 2, 2012):

Lawrence library ratified a 3-year agreement.

Even though the City of Lawrence has been facing a $3 million debt and, evidently, no money for the Lawrence Library members, Local 888 members received language improvements and a "me too" reopener provision in the event any other unit there gets a COLA.
